Personality::
Though she could be considered one of the youngest countries in the world, she has had quite the long and rigorous past, with the blood of the celts running fresh in her veins; the only trouble she ever had growing up was from that of her brother, England, and if not him, Scotland would always seem to leave her in the dust. With this, she has grown to have quite the challenging attitude, being quite stand-offish and easily prone to anger. Too her, fists could easily solve many problems that words couldn't.
As mentioned, she is quite bitter twords the rest of the world, especially England as he "stole" her little sister away from him. (Poor Northern Ireland) as well as keeping Wales locked away. She tends to like Scotland now-a-days, but is still quite testy.
She has, for as long as she can remember, been a strong and entirely faithful catholic and is always seen with a cross around her neck. Ireland nearly always believes that god is on her side and it causes her to do big things in a very reckless manner. Meanwhile, and quite contrary to that, she lives off her entire life by cutting deals with the lepricons, who often are quick to lend her pots of gold when she really needs it. Also, another contrasting habit, she is knew as the world renowned heaviest drinker. With a strong stomach, she can consume 10x the average person drinks before she even begins to feel buzzed. Because of this, she loves straight hard liquor. Ireland often stays up late and goes to the local pub, just for the sheer hell of it.
Whenever it is possible, she carries a lucky four-leaf clover around with her, and it serves her well.
and for some weird reason, i have a feeling her favorite number is 4. xD
She is constantly digging up on the history of her parents and other family before her, finding fascination in who lived in her own house many years ago.
